Arçelik supports Koç Holding’s "Ülkem İçin Engel Tanımıyorum” (I Stop At Nothing For My Country) program with "Photography Training for Physically-Handicapped People".

The support for different projects continues with the “Ülkem İçin Engel Tanımıyorum” program carried out by Koç Holding. Arçelik conducts the “Photography Training for Physically-Handicapped People” project in cooperation with the Solidarity Association for the Physically Disabled (BEDD) and Fotoğrafmetre Derneği.

With this photography training, Arçelik aims to introduce people with physical disabilities to the art of photography, to ensure that they receive special education in this area and to make them look to life from different window by supporting them to create a special interest area.

The training to be provided by the professional photographer members of Fotoğrafmetre Derneği comprises of 6 lessons including the communication of technical information and outdoor photography practices. Participants who have already learned technical knowledge in the context of the training that 14 physically handicapped BEDD members participate in will find the opportunity to transform their learning into practice with the photographs they will take in different locations in Istanbul. At the end of the project, the work of the students is planned to be exhibited.

The first training took place with the participation of BEDD and Fotoğrafmetre Derneği trainers as well as Arçelik volunteers. Detailed information on the technical features and use of the camera was given to the participants during the training.

Outdoor photography practices within the scope of the training were performed in Rahmi Koç Museum. Participants had the chance to photograph different objects in the museum. Members of the Arçelik Photography Club also participate in the shootings and they support the activities by sharing their knowledge in this field.
